During high school, Joe served as Captain of his Trap Team, leading with focus, discipline, and teamwork. Most notably, he won 1st Place Varsity Male & High Gun Overall Male in our 1,000+ athlete Division at the 2025 Alexandria State Tournament. He has made us very proud with numerous other trap awards as it seems this is a sport that just comes naturally. He has also been an active volunteer member of the Sons of the American Legion at Post 65, reflecting his commitment to service and community.

In addition to academics and leadership, Joe earned his Brown Belt in Ashihara kaikan-style Karate, developing perseverance and self-discipline both inside and outside the training room. He has stepped up to lead the class in the instructor’s absence and teaches the younger students sparring techniques.

Can’t forget the years in hockey, baseball and football!
